I am a geek in technology. In many cases I see loads of problems in my clients computer is virus. Mostly because of the Antivirus is not updated regularly. This is the common mistake all computer user do. They think when they have installed the anti virus then all the virus will be gone.
They are wrong, sooo wrong. You need to regularly update your antivirus.
This avast antivirus has everything you need. From realtime scan to email and messenger scan. All of them is done in real time. Not bad at all for free antivirus. I even recommend the AV for all my clients. You can set the realtime scan from normal to High in no time. Separate update functions, one will update the antivirus database and the other will update the program itself. In which they are using the first opportunity when you are online to check for new update availability.
Now, in the 4.8 version they even include the anti spyware function, even though the function is not as good as their antivirus, it’s still a good hope that something is protecting me from spyware/adware too.

First, open Notepad. Then copy and paste into it the text on the line below. (It should all be on one line.

Then select File, Save and select all Files for the file type, then save the file as eicar.com
Your anti-virus software may prevent you from saving the file as eicar.com, which is a sign that it is working effectively. If it doesn’t raise an alert, try scanning the folder where you saved eicar.com. To see what happens if you try to run a file containing a virus, double-click eicar.com to open it.
Explanation
The file eicar.com you have created is completely safe. It is not a virus. It is a standard test file developed by the European Institute for Computer Anti-virus Research (EICAR). All anti-virus products are programmed to detect this file as if it was a real virus. Therefore you can safely use it to test whether your anti-virus software works, without fear of infecting your computer.
If your anti-virus product should fail to prevent you from running the file, it will simply display the text “EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE” in a DOS box. No harm will have been done, but you should probably consider using a better anti-virus product, because if it had been a real virus, your computer would by now be infected!

Baru aja kemaren tiba2 laptopku yang baru berusia beberapa bulan ini tiba2 bermasalah….
Tombol yang bermasalah adalah tombol2 yang punya fungsi extra, contohnya u=4, i=5, o=6, dst. Jadilah daku mengetik seharian dengan menekan tombol Fn.
Teringat langkah-langkah forensic, langsung aja diriku segera mengambil langkah pengobatan….. Update antivirus dan antispyware terbaru. Scan semua hard disk.
Sampe ganti antivirus dari symantec corporate ke avast free yang punya fungsi boot-time scanning. Tetep KAGAK KETEMU tu virus…. Kurang ajar…. Lewat juga ni laptop ma virus..
Ini makin membuat penasaran. Googling dikit, ada informasi bahwa virus itu bisa jadi telah menyerang BIOS dan mengacak-acak keyboard layout. ALAMAKKKK! Bisa kacau tujuh turunan ini mah…
Yang lebih aneh lagi, waktu pas di boot-up ke linux, ni keyboard normal-normal aja. Hmmm, virus yang anehhhhhhh. Serang linux juga dong.. Hehehe. Ya suds, mau ga mau harus beralih 80% ke linux deh sekarang. Suka sie belajar linux, tapi harus mulai sendiri dan otodidak belajarnya.
Akhirnya karena udah ga tahan gara-gara penasaran, daku balik lagi ke windows. Check semua lini keamanan pake ATF Cleaner, HiJackThis, SilentRunnner sampe Rootkit Revealer, GA NEMUIN APA-APA. Canggih juga nie virus!
Saatnya minta pertolongan di paman Google. Wah ternyata CAPSLOCKku ada dlm posisi ON.
Eh disebelah itu apaan ya, kok nyala juga lampunya? NUM LOCK bacaannya… Tes dulu ah… Coba ngetik… Eh normal! Wekekekeke. Ternyata virus itu sebatas salah pencet numlock yang otomatis aktif terus… Oalahhhhhh.
